Right to Life March -

Bus trip to Washington D.C. was started and coordinated by the Chapter in 2000. Several brother knights and fellow parishioners have made the trip annually to promote the pro-life movement.

Diocesan Family Rosary Day

Has been coordinated by the chapter with the Legion of Mary since 1968 and is celebrated on the Second Sunday in October at Christ The King Church located at 2777 East Livingston Avenue.

Barney Palkovac VA Program

Has been coordinated by the Chapter for the Dioceses since 1993 when State Deputy Rocco Veneziano appointed S.K Barney Palkovac as V.A. Chairman for the Columbus Diocese. The V.A. program throughout the State and the Order is what it is today because of his efforts and is now known as the Barney Palkovac Memorial V.A. July 2010 Letter to Councils and Assemblies

This year we plan to do much for our veterans. For this reason, we are reaching out to all Diocesan Councils for your help. Any participation or donations that you can give would be most appreciated. If at all possible, we are asking a fifty- dollar donation from each council so that we can again supply and fulfill the needs of the veterans. Clergy Appreciation Night

Started in 1999 to honor the Clergy and any Religious a council wished to honor in the Columbus Diocese and takes place at Villa-Milano on Schrock Rd. The Vocations Department is also given a check for $1000, to support Vocations in the Diocese.

The Columbus Diocese will be inviting all priest and deacons of the diocese to be our guests at the tenth Annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner.

Please feel free to bring any other religious or Seminarians that your council wishes as a council guest at $30.00 per person. The Chapter is asking each council to sponsor at least two or more priests that are not affiliated with a council. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Each council is encouraged to purchase two or more seats at $30.00 per person for priest, in addition to the council's reservation for priest, religious, Seminarians, knights, wives or friends. Remember, this event is our opportunity to thank all of our clergy in the diocese for their hard work and dedication. This is also another opportunity to show them another great service of the Knights of Columbus. Please include this event in your many council programs and budget for this fraternal year. Started in 1967 by S.K. and Past Chapter President Paul Rea. This recognition honors a Council knight and family of the year and selects a Chapter Knight and Family of the year from the council selections.
